Eweda - a semi-hard, aged, sheeps milk cheese
Eweda (pronounced you-da) is made with a Gouda recipe - hence the peculiar name, a combinaton of ewe and Gouda. However, it tastes nothing like Gouda, which is made from cows milk.
Like most aged ewes' milk cheeses, the taste is creamy, with a mildly tart flavour and the characteristic "fruitiness" of sheeps milk.
